Registered Nurse, PRN

The role is a Part Time, On-site Registered Nurse (PRN) who will accurately assess and perform nursing procedures in the ER, teach patients/families, and assist physicians. The nurse will be responsible for medication preparation, documentation, and cooperation with other staff.

Requirements

• Accurately assess and perform basic nursing procedures required for all patients.
• Teach patients/families health promotion and maintenance.
• Initiate emergency care per department policy.
• Assist physician with examinations, procedures, rounds, and other processes.
• Prepare and document medication administration.
• Cooperates with other personnel and physician.
• Requires a Registered Nurse license in the State of Kansas.
