Home Inspector

Role Overview

Join a team of professional home inspectors as a detail-oriented, articulate, and outgoing individual. Work in various weather conditions, climb ladders, and stand for long periods of time. Develop advanced technical knowledge in building science and stay current on company initiatives, policies, and procedures.

What You Will Do

Inspect homes, including plumbing, electrical, framing, HVAC, siding, and roofing for defects or potential problems. Keep daily logs, write reports, and take photographs. Review findings with clients and/or agents.

Why It Might Be a Fit

Ideal candidate has construction, real estate, or home repair experience, strong understanding of building codes, laws, and government regulations, and excellent communication skills. Physically fit for climbing ladders and standing for long periods of time.

Requirements

• Construction, real estate, or home repair experience
• Strong understanding of building codes, laws, and government regulations
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and a positive attitude
• Physically fit for climbing ladders, walk on roofs, access crawl spaces and attics, and stand for long periods of time
• Able to lift 50 lbs
