Packet Forwarding Software Engineer

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Packet Forwarding Software Engineer to work on designing, developing, and troubleshooting software programs for software enhancements and new products. The role is based in Bengaluru, India and requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent, and 7+ years of experience in Programming, OS Concepts & Networking concepts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent
• 7+ years experience in Programming, OS Concepts & Networking concepts
• Strong OS concepts in Linux
• Strong programming skills in C, C++
• Strong Networking fundamentals i.e., data plane / L2, L3 Forwarding, ACL (Access Control List), Firewall
• Ability to apply analytical and problem solving skills
• Designing software systems running on multiple platform types
• Software systems testing methodology, including execution of test plans, debugging, and testing scripts and tools
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
