Software Engineer – Kernel & Networking

The role of Software Engineer – Kernel & Networking involves designing, developing, troubleshooting, and debugging software programs for software enhancements and new products, with a focus on kernel and networking. The successful candidate will have expertise in multiple software systems design tools and languages, system programming, and kernel development experience with knowledge of Linux/FreeBSD Unix. They will also collaborate with management, internal, and outsourced development partners to develop reliable, cost-effective, and high-quality solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent
• Typically 8-10 years' experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Mastery in English and local language
• Expertise in multiple software systems design tools and languages - C/C++
• System programming, Kernel development experience with knowledge of Linux/FreeBSD Unix
• Networking and protocol knowledge is required
• TCP/UDP/SCTP protocols knowledge is good to have
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Designing software systems running on multiple platform types
• Software systems testing methodology, including writing and execution of test plans, debugging, and testing scripts and tools
