The Engineering Technician is responsible for testing wiring devices and components to ensure they meet the specified quality and performance standards of the Engineering Department and/or certification agencies.
Requirements
- High school graduate with two or more years of technical education or equivalent (required)
- Ability to read basic measuring instruments, simple blueprints, and simple schematics (required)
- 1-3 years of relevant experience
- Ability to read, write and understand basic technical English.
- Excellent computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
- Proven time management skills and the ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks effectively.
- Exceptional judgment and common sense.
- Results-oriented with a track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
- Process improvement skills preferred.
