Junior Hardware Engineer

The Senior Associate Design Engineer is responsible for supporting the design, development and testing of electronics components and systems. This role involves contributing to the creation, evaluation, and improvement of an embedded system from schematic capture to printed circuit board (PCB) layout, and firmware development while ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.

Requirements

• Participating in New Product Development (NPD) teams to identify, specify, and integrate electronic components in support of broader platform launches, including requirements analysis and system design.
• Supporting the design, development, testing and validation of microcontroller-based PCBs, making necessary adjustments to achieve desired performance and functionality.
• Preparing comprehensive technical documentation, reports, and specifications related to electrical designs, test outcomes, and project progress.
• Ensuring adherence to safety regulations, electrical codes, and compliance standards in all phases of electrical system development.
• Contributing to research initiatives, exploring new technologies and methodologies to enhance performance or cost optimizations.
• Using problem-solving skills to address issues and utilizing basic decision-making skills within projects.
• Contributing to team objectives and outcomes as guided by leadership.
