Role Overview

Perform labor tasks related to general site/highway construction, with a focus on installing utilities and pipelines. Work with direct and indirect supervision, often in non-traditional hours.

What You Will Do

Install sewer, storm sewer, water line, and other utilities, monitor excavations and shoring systems for safety, and ensure proper procedures for installation.

Why It Might Be a Fit

Must have knowledge of pipe installation methods, shoring systems, and grade control systems. Ability to work in field environments with exposure to dust, inclement weather, and extreme heat.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
• Ability to operate small trucks and vans (non-CDL)
• PennDOT Flagger Training Course completion
• Basic understanding of OSHA regulations related to trenching, shoring, and confined space work
