The role involves technical work instructions, on-site support, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems, utility systems, and fire protection systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program
- 2 years of relevant exempt experience
- Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) in the mechanical disciplines preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build strong working relationships and rapport with NNS production, engineering, safety, maintenance, and contractor personnel
- Knowledge of pertinent Building Codes, Virginia Codes, NFPA Standards/Codes, ASHRAE Recommendations, and OSHA regulations
- Experience with heavy industrial facilities
- Ability to gain and maintain a Confidential level security clearance
- AutoCAD and Inventor experience
