Job Summary: Huntsman is seeking a Controls Engineer to implement, maintain, and optimize plant automation and control systems. As a Controls Engineer, you will modify, maintain, and troubleshoot control systems, diagnose automation and controls issues, and provide support for IT/OT networks.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Industrial Controls, Mechatronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline
- 4+ years of controls or automation experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills
- Solid understanding of industrial automation systems and control networks
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams
- Adaptability and willingness to work in a dynamic industrial environment
- Commitment to safety, compliance, and operational excellence
- Ability to research and apply Huntsman, ISO, and applicable regulatory and professional standards
