The Legal Assistant will perform duties utilizing legal terminology, procedures, and documents, and may conduct research to support a legal proceeding.
Requirements
- Draft and file legal documents
- Prepare probate forms
- Assist with assessment of creditor claims
- Maintain attorney's calendar
- Maintain databases of case materials
- Assist with maintenance of files
- Prepare correspondence
- Open files and set up accordingly
- Close out files
- Prepare bills
- Assist with all other administrative needs
