The Salesforce Engineering Manager leads delivery of business-critical development, maintenance, and support for the Schools Office using Agile methodologies. This role manages internal and external teams, and is accountable for planning, performance, delivery, and reporting of all IT activities.
Requirements
- Accountable for the management of software development by managing, planning, co-ordinating and tracking all IT delivery of change requests, projects, and work streams within the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Management of software development teams (both internal and external), including line management and involvement of scrum ceremonies, to ensure quality software is delivered to time and budget.
- Co-coordinate with product managers, business stakeholders and IT support teams to ensure operational readiness for transitioning projects to business as usual.
- Preparation and coordination of release activities, including risk management, communications and process improvements.
- Investigate, assess, and/or select existing and new suppliers by using the agreed requirements and internal/procurement guidelines, including the monitoring of SLAs.
- Manage, coach and appraise staff and accountable for an optimal qualitative and quantitative staffing of the unit, in line with the year plan and HR guidelines
