Senior Java Engineer

Role Overview

Join a newly formed team of senior Java engineers who own Account Opening and Payments, two critical domains at IG. Work alongside experienced engineers to operate independently, make sound technical decisions, and challenge each other's thinking.

What You Will Do

Use AI for coding tasks, employ AI-assisted code analysis, optimization, and security scanning, and achieve measurable productivity improvements through AI integration.

Why It Might Be a Fit

Strong Java skills, 6+ years of experience, and hands-on experience with Spring Boot in production. Experience building and deploying production systems at scale, designing and operating microservices, and working with cloud infrastructure.

Requirements
