Senior Backend Developer (Java)

Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer with a focus on Java to work on a new project, with strong technical leadership. You will be responsible for designing and developing scalable solutions based on microservices and APIs, contributing to architecture decisions in a dynamic, collaborative and product-oriented environment.

What You Will Do

Develop and maintain APIs and backend services using Java and Spring Boot; Design and evolve microservices with API-first approach, following the SOA methodology; Develop and consume RESTful APIs following best practices; Develop and optimize stored procedures and work with relational and non-relational databases;

Requirements

• Solid experience with Java (current and updated versions) and Spring Boot
• Experience with microservices and API-first architecture
• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs (mandatory)
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline
• Experience with Jenkins (not necessary to operate in production, but know how to use it in the development context)
• Experience with SQL Server and development of stored procedures
• Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases (MongoDB, Redis, use of cache)
• Experience with OpenShift, Kubernetes and containers
• Knowledge of SOA methodology
• Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence in daily life - we use Copilot and are developing our own AI
