Senior GL Accountant

Role Overview

As a Senior GL Accountant, you will help ensure that financial information remains complete, reliable, and properly supported. You will work closely with finance colleagues and stakeholders across the organization while contributing to reporting, compliance, financial controls, and continuous improvement initiatives.

What You Will Do

You will manage month end closings, reconciliations, financial controls, and reporting activities while maintaining high standards of accuracy and consistency. You will also contribute to HFM reporting, IFRS related activities, finance process improvements, and the continued development of NetSuite and connected systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 3+ years of relevant experience within accounting or finance
• Experience with General Ledger accounting and month end closings
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, accruals, operational costs, and accounting processes
• Knowledge of Belgian GAAP. IFRS exposure is a plus
• Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite or similar platforms
• Strong Excel skills and confidence working with financial data and reporting structures
• Fluent in Dutch and English
