Junior Security Engineer (m/w/d)

We are SYNTAX, an international IT service provider for the medium-sized manufacturing industry. We are looking for a Junior Security Engineer to support our industrial customers in modernizing their security architectures and building sustainable cyber resilience.

Requirements

• First experiences in the field of cybersecurity, networks, operating systems, and security architectures
• Basic knowledge or first contacts with common security tools (e.g. EDR/XDR, IPS/IDS, PAM, SIEM, or Vulnerability Management)
• First experience in the field of automation & scripting (e.g. with Python, PowerShell, or Ansible)
• Interest in topics such as Indicators of Compromise (IOC), risk analysis, or common security frameworks (e.g. ISO 27001, NIST)
• Analytical thinking, team spirit, and willingness to learn
• Very good German skills and good English skills
• CyberArk knowledge is desirable
