Mechanical Fitter

Imerys is seeking a Mechanical Fitter to join its Ball Clays Engineering team at Heathfield. The successful candidate will provide mechanical support to fixed plant and processing equipment across the Devon Ball Clays operations, maintaining plant availability through planned preventive maintenance, breakdown response, and continuous improvement work.

Requirements

• Mechanical fitting experience within an industrial or processing environment
• NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent apprenticeship)
• Experience carrying out planned maintenance and breakdown repairs
• Strong health, safety, and environmental awareness
• Valid license to drive in the UK
