Financial Controller

inBeat is a performance creative agency seeking a Financial Controller to own accounting operations, payroll, and month-end close across a portfolio of Canadian and US entities. The role is fully remote and reports directly to the CFO.

Requirements

• CPA designation (Canadian)
• Fully bilingual in French and English, written and spoken
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 2+ years as Controller, Assistant Controller, or Senior Accountant
• Direct experience in an agency, professional services, or media/marketing services environment
• Hands-on multi-entity payroll experience across Canadian and US jurisdictions
• Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Online
• Multi-entity, multi-currency accounting experience (CAD/USD)
• Solid grasp of Quebec and Canadian tax compliance (GST/QST, T2, T4/T4A, T5, RL-1)
• Working understanding of US tax compliance
