Job Description
This Staff Cloud Security Engineer role is critical to ensuring robust security within cloud environments. The position involves designing and implementing security controls, automating access and infrastructure hardening, and contributing to HIPAA compliance. The engineer will collaborate with engineering teams and collaborate with security frameworks (like AWS). The role emphasizes a proactive approach to risk mitigation and knowledge sharing within the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in cloud security with a strong emphasis on AWS.
- Experience in Python and Go for security automation, security tool building, and infrastructure management.
- Experience with AWS, GCP, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and security frameworks (HIPAA).
- Experience with SDLC security integration, CI/CD pipeline security integration, and secure software development practices.
