Job Description
This position seeks a skilled Nocturnist Pediatric Emergency Room (ER) Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to provide comprehensive pediatric care during nighttime shifts. The role involves assessment, diagnosis, and management of pediatric patients in an emergency setting, requiring close collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals. The candidate should prioritize therapeutic measures and evaluation for complex cases.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
- Current PA or NP licensure in the state of practice
- Certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and other relevant certifications
- Minimum of four (4) years of pediatric emergency room experience preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team
