Network Engineer, Level 2

Network Engineer Level 2 will support mission-critical enterprise and tactical network environments across secure DoD and Intelligence Community infrastructures. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Cisco and Arista technologies, routing and switching, firewall administration, crypto equipment, WAN optimization, and secure communications environments.

Requirements

• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Cisco and Arista network infrastructure
• Support enterprise routing and switching environments with a strong emphasis on BGP routing and sustainment
• Troubleshoot complex network performance, connectivity, and infrastructure issues
• Configure and support firewall technologies and network security appliances
• Support crypto equipment and secure communications environments
• Administer and support Riverbed WAN optimization technologies and Call Manager systems
• Support LatteArt and related operational network management tools
• Maintain compliance with STE/STN and SSP security requirements across network environments
• Support network upgrades, patching, configuration management, and lifecycle activities
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and security teams to maintain secure and reliable network operations
• Provide operational support during outages, maintenance windows, and mission-critical events
• Participate in on-call rotations and travel support as required
