Job Description
Indiana University Health is seeking a Full-Time Occupational Therapist to provide direct patient care for individuals with physical and psychological dysfunctions. The role involves utilizing a variety of sensory-motor, functional, educational, recreational, and social activities to help patients regain physical or mental functioning. The position also involves supervising occupational therapy assistants and ensuring proper patient care and department operations.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited academic program in occupational therapy, or equivalent education from an accredited program outside the US
- Current certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) or acceptance of equivalent coursework
- Current license in the State of Indiana
- Basic Life Support certification through the AHA
