EDS Lineman

Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated individual to assist in the maintaining and repairing of a 25 kV overhead and underground power line system used to supply power to Oil and Gas Operations.

What You Will Do

Install, maintain, and repair overhead and underground electrical distribution lines, assist in supervision of construction/maintenance crews, and perform regular inspections and maintenance of power lines and equipment.

Why It Might Be a Fit

Must have 3-5 years of experience, valid Journeyman Lineman certification, and proficiency in using electrical tools and diagnostic equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a recognized apprenticeship program or equivalent experience
• Valid Journeyman Lineman certification or equivalent experience
• 3-5 years of experience preferred
• Proficiency in using electrical tools and diagnostic equipment
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints
• Valid driver's license; CDL preferred but not required
• Strong understanding of safety procedures and regulations
• Physical ability to perform the duties of the position, including working at heights and in various weather conditions
