Job description
Mechanical Maintenance Technicians are tasked with daily application of expertise to ensure the safe and reliable operation of site process plants and reducing operating costs. They execute assigned work according to plan and schedule, noting any job plan deviations, and providing input on improvement opportunities.
Perform basic maintenance and repairs on machines, including cleaning and lubricating machinery, performing basic diagnostic tests, checking performance, and testing damaged machine parts to determine whether major repairs are necessary.
Must be able to acquire a TWIC card, and have a minimum of three (3) years directly-related experience as a mechanical maintenance technician (millwright) in petrochemical, refinery, pulp/paper or related industry, or completion of a two (2) year industrial Maintenance Technology degree.
