
Job description
The Safety Engineer serves as a plant-wide expert on all safety and fire protection related issues, implementing and enforcing OSHA and NFPA standards, and advising site management on regulatory compliance and industry best practices.
Develop and implement site safety and IH procedures, assess new technologies, and evaluate trends and site performance on safety and health system elements. Coordinate audits, review contractor safety approvals, and manage safety programs.
The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of Occupational Safety & Health experience, a Bachelor's degree in engineering, health and safety, or a related field, and certifications such as ASP or Board-Certified Credentialed Safety Professional.
