Quality Engineer

Role Overview

The Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring products conform to specifications and quality plans. This position works closely with the Production Team to develop and implement quality plans, work instructions, and related quality management system procedures.

What You Will Do

Perform internal quality audits and inspections, implement corrective actions, assist in design and implementation of test methods, lead cross-functional teams to ensure compliance, and develop and track quality KPIs.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, 3+ years of experience in quality manufacturing, and 1+ year of experience as a Quality Engineer. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, computer skills, and ability to write reports are required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• 3+ years of experience in quality manufacturing
• 1+ year of experience as a Quality Engineer
• General metrology skills
• Desire welding knowledge
• Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 QMS
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
• Strong computer skills including Excel, Word, and ERP systems
• Ability to write reports and professional business correspondence
• Certified Quality Engineer from ASQ preferred
