Job description
Network Cable Technician will support customer located at the Washington Navy Yard, installing, maintaining, and supporting network infrastructure for reliable connectivity. The role involves cable pulling, terminations, testing, and documentation requirements for the Naval Nuclear Propulsion mission.
Install equipment enclosures, patch panels, and equipment; install grounding cables; install cable trays and accessories; terminate Category 3, 5e, 6, and 6a UTP cable; diagnose and correct copper and fiber optic cable problems.
Requires 5+ years' experience in cabling or network technician work, active Secret or L security clearance, and knowledge of structured cable standards and codes.
