Job Description
Inova Alexandria Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Inpatient Lactation Consultant to join their Postpartum Unit. This part-time Night Shift position offers 24 hours of work per week, providing clinical expertise and patient care in a safe and therapeutic environment. The hospital is consistently ranked as a national healthcare leader.
Requirements
- Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing
- 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in Critical Care or Pediatric Units
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (6 months)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PAT) certification (6 months)
- Infusion Center Units: Obtain chemo card
- Registered Nurse license in the Commonwealth of Virginia or current active multi-state license
