
Job description
This position is responsible for all compliance aspects of 401(k) plan administration, including plan document creation and maintenance, nondiscrimination testing, participant benefit allocations, and various other tasks associated with 401(k) plan administration. The Senior Compliance Analyst will work with clients to ensure regulatory compliance and provide technical expertise on advanced technical issues.
Reviews prospective business for suitability and plan design, manages nondiscrimination testing, prepares annual Form 5500 and audit packages, and advises on complex controlled group business structures. Provides technical expertise and monitors legislative changes for potential required amendments.
This role requires a strong understanding of ERISA, the Internal Revenue Code, and Department of Labor regulations, with a primary focus on 401(k) plans. The ideal candidate will have experience with industry recognized recordkeeping systems and a commitment to pursuing a professional designation.
