Technical Writer II

Role Overview

The Technical Writer II will provide documentation for the Department of the Navy Office of Administration (DON OA) – Information Technology Division (ITD) for DUSN (M) claimancy applications, systems, and networks.

What You Will Do

Provide documentation commensurate with the level of effort required for the tasking, including developing project plans, defining requirements and design alternatives, implementing solutions, testing, and deploying and training on engineered solutions.

Ideal candidate will have direct experience with applicable military standards, specifications, and test practices, and be able to conceptualize, format, structure, write, edit, and finalize technical manuals, orders, specifications, modification work orders, and test plans, procedures, and results.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree with 3 yrs experience
• Direct experience of applicable military standards, specifications and test practices
• Secret Clearance
