Job description
The Windows System Engineer SME provides support and administration of the CAA and Army Contracting Command – Detroit Arsenal (ACC-DTA) in a Windows Server distributed environment.
Perform Operating System (OS) tasks, provide automation and continuous improvement recommendations, perform production control activities, create and manage a routine Maintenance Window schedule, perform log reviews and server configuration changes, coordinate OS upgrades, patches, fixes, and testing with stakeholders, and analyze data and provide recommendations to address application high availability issues and requirements.
Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a similar Information Technology Field, 10 years’ experience in Windows engineering, experience with analysis, testing, storage operations, backup operations, virtualization software, scripting, DevOps, ITIL processes, and cloud environments, and a Secret Clearance.
