Electric Motor Winder

We are looking for a skilled Winder to join our team to rewind various kinds of basic electromechanical equipment, inspect for winding damage, and perform voltage testing. This is a progressive role that will be filled at the level based on the skills and experience of the selected candidate.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in rewinding AC and DC electric motors
• Prior practice in winding fields, armatures, and synchronous rotor poles
• Ability to perform basic math functions including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division including understanding fractions
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple to moderately complex written and verbal instructions
• Ability to understand, perform, and retain various job-related training, operational, and safety procedures
• Ability to operate and perform VPI
• Ability to exercise initiative, judgment, and decision making related to routine duties within set company standards
• Ability to operate machinery and hoists
• Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, stoop, kneel, and bend for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to lift, push, pull, carry items up to 50 lbs.
