Job Description
IPS is seeking a dynamic Field Service Technician to join their team. The role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electro-mechanical equipment while delivering top-notch service to customers. No day will be the same in this hands-on role.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience operating a vehicle with a valid, unrestricted driver’s license
- Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical/electrical equipment repair and maintenance
- 2+ years of AC/DC motor experience (mechanical focus)
- PdMA testing and Level I Vibration Analysis experience preferred
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and mechanical manuals
- Strong attention to detail with precise execution of instructions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment following standardized work procedures
- Strong customer focus and professional communication skills
- Valid, unrestricted driver’s license with the ability to travel locally
- Available to work flexible hours, overtime, weekends, and on-call as required
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations, including fractions and percentages
