The Silicon SoC Architect plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of Intel's System-on-Chip (SoC) designs, defining and driving end-to-end SoC architecture for highly optimized, modular, and scalable systems.
Requirements
- Define and develop SoC architecture, including firmware, hardware, and platform specifications, to meet performance, power, area, timing, and configuration goals.
- Evaluate feasibility trade-offs and explore innovative approaches and novel architectures for SoC.
- Conceptualize and specify microarchitecture and architectural features for next-generation products designed for multiple segments.
- Develop tests, test plans, and testing infrastructure for new architectures/features for SoC.
- Conduct functional modeling simulations and analyze test results using advanced statistical methods to benchmark performance and identify improvement areas.
- Provide experimental proof-of-concept changes and design alternatives to meet technical constraints.
- Influence and challenge cross-functional roadmaps and define technology targets for future SoCs.
- Collaborate with architects, design engineers, system engineers, and verification engineers to improve overall SoC design and overcome constraints.
