Research Scientist

IAI is seeking highly motivated Research Scientists with experience in radar theory and simulations, radar system design and signal processing. Job duties include research and development into the design of innovative advanced radar systems, modeling and simulation of advanced radar processing, target detection, SAR, ISAR, MTI, and target tracking algorithms.

Requirements

• M.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Experience in radar theory and simulations
• Experience in implementing radar processing algorithms in MATLAB, C/C++, or Java, and generate simulation models to verify the algorithms
• Strong analytical, verbal and written communication skills, and a strong interest in authoring grant proposals and publications
• Any experience with supporting advanced prototyping and product development, and working with RF engineers and system engineers to generate hardware requirements and design documents, selecting sub-system components, and implementing a radar RF front-end is a plus.
