The Press Operator (Extrusion Technician) role is to manufacture extruded products and ensure production standards are met relating to safety, quality, outputs and cost are met. This position is a part-time (24-hours) on the Weekend Warrior Crew on Saturday and Sundays.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Legal eligibility to work in the United States of America
- Ability to speak, read and write English
- 1 to 3 years' experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with all levels of personnel
- Basic math skills and some mechanical abilities
- Consistent, dependable attendance and ability to accommodate non-standard work hours
- Capable of lifting, pulling and pushing up to 50 pounds of various sizes and shapes
- Capable of standing and walking for extended periods of time and climbing ladders or other equipment for cleaning
- Effective management of job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions
