Director of Software Engineering

Role Overview

Lead software engineering team to deliver high-quality software products on time and within budget. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure software meets customer needs and is delivered with a high level of quality.

What You Will Do

Manage engineering resources, including budgets, schedules, and resource allocation. Evaluate and recommend new tools, technologies, and processes to improve software development efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2 years of experience in a leadership role
• Strong technical expertise in software development, including expertise in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, or Ruby
• Experience with software development methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Kanban
• Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to balance technical and business considerations
• Experience in startup environments, with a demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality software products in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
