
Job description
Reporting to the Site Manager, the Operations Manager manages the day-to-day operations of a single depot and establishes and maintains performance and productivity metrics and cost management processes.
Manages the day-to-day operations of the depot, monitors budget and operating metrics, executes necessary precautions to ensure safety and compliance, oversees personnel needs, and formulates goals and action plans.
Requires experience in transportation, logistics, or solid waste operations, with coaching, routing assessments, and leading employees. Experience in operations, customer service, community relations, health and safety, financial, and human resources functions is also required.
