Overnight Operations Manager

Role Overview

Reporting to the Site Manager, the Operations Manager manages the day-to-day operations of a single depot and establishes and maintains performance and productivity metrics and cost management processes.

What You Will Do

Manages the day-to-day operations of the depot, monitors budget and operating metrics, executes necessary precautions to ensure safety and compliance, oversees personnel needs, and formulates goals and action plans.

Why It Might Be a Fit

Requires experience in transportation, logistics, or solid waste operations, with coaching, routing assessments, and leading employees. Experience in operations, customer service, community relations, health and safety, financial, and human resources functions is also required.

Requirements

• Associate degree (accredited) or High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and 2 years of relevant work experience
• 3 years of work experience in transportation, logistics, or solid waste operations
• Experience in operations, customer service, community relations, health and safety, financial, and human resources functions
• Experience as a supervisor or manager
• Experience implementing safety (OSHA) programs and equipment specifications
• Experience preparing and managing budgets
• Experience resolving labor relations issues
