Systems Engineer

Role Overview

Join our team as a Systems Engineer for the Small Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (SUAS) Product Office (PO). You will ensure technical sufficiency of input to Sources Sought Notices, coordination with stakeholders, and program documentation. You will drive use of Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools and compliance with Modular Open Systems Approach (MOSA) principles.

What You Will Do

Provide technical oversight of contracted works, lead Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), work groups, analyze contractor performance, identify risk, develop courses of action, and develop recommendations during all phases of the systems engineering process and product life cycle.

Why It Might Be a Fit

You will work with SUAS personnel, PM UAS functionals and staff, prime contractors and suppliers, user representatives, and Army airworthiness personnel. You will establish and monitor cost, schedule, and performance of systems engineering activities across the lifecycle.

Requirements

• ABET accredited BS degree
• 2 -5 years of related Uncrewed Aircraft Systems experience
• Experience or exposure to DoD to include planning, execution and reporting
• Demonstrated technical writing and oral reporting skills
• Proficient in MS Office Suite tools
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
