Job Description
Senior Manager, Software Engineering role with 12+ years of experience in software engineering, 5+ years of managing engineering teams, and strong technical capabilities in Java, Python, or TypeScript/JavaScript.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in software engineering
- 5+ years of experience in managing engineering teams
- Bachelor's or Master's in CS, Engineering, or related field
- Experience building and operating systems in regulated financial environments
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred)
- Experience with CI/CD maturity and production reliability
- Deep understanding of data security, compliance requirements, and audit expectations in financial services
- Experience with AI/ML adoption and its impact on velocity and quality
- Proven track record of hiring, developing, and retaining strong engineering talent
- Experience managing teams of 10-25 engineers
- Skilled at performance management
