Job Description
We are looking for an experienced purchasing manager to develop our purchasing activities strategically and operationally. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of FMCG, food & nutrition, and a keen sense for quality, costs, and speed.
Requirements
- Degree in Business Administration, Economics or a related commercial field
- Several years of professional experience in the procurement of protein, whey or other food products
- In-depth category and supplier knowledge in the Nutrition/Food Ingredients sector
- Proven negotiation skills and contract success
- Experience with whey proteins and functional foods
- Expertise in risk management and dual-soourcing strategies
- Proficient in SAP
- Fluent in English, German is a plus
- Strong analytical, strategic and results-driven mindset
- Excellent communication, negotiation and leadership skills
