Head of Strategic Procurement (m/f/d) – Protein & Packaging

We are looking for an experienced purchasing manager to develop our purchasing activities strategically and operationally. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of FMCG, food & nutrition, and a keen sense for quality, costs, and speed.

Requirements

• Degree in Business Administration, Economics or a related commercial field
• Several years of professional experience in the procurement of protein, whey or other food products
• In-depth category and supplier knowledge in the Nutrition/Food Ingredients sector
• Proven negotiation skills and contract success
• Experience with whey proteins and functional foods
• Expertise in risk management and dual-soourcing strategies
• Proficient in SAP
• Fluent in English, German is a plus
• Strong analytical, strategic and results-driven mindset
• Excellent communication, negotiation and leadership skills
