
Job description
The Learning Assistant will work under the guidance of teaching and senior staff to implement agreed work programs with individuals/groups in and out of the classroom. The primary focus will be to support students in accessing the curriculum and assisting them to undertake and complete tasks.
Assist teachers in managing and preparing resources, support students in accessing the curriculum, and help them complete tasks. Establish productive working relationships with children, promote inclusion and acceptance, and encourage independence and self-reliance.
This role requires effective communication skills, high organization, and sensitivity to the needs of young people. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, good at motivating students, and able to work constructively as part of a team.
