Malaysia - Account Analyst

Join our team as an Account Analyst in Shah Alam, Selangor Darul Ehsan, Malaysia. As a finance professional, you will be responsible for preparing and posting General Ledger journals, supporting month-end and period-end close activities, and preparing variance analysis and financial reports for management review. You will also collaborate with local finance teams to ensure complete and accurate GL reporting and develop and maintain finance policies, manuals, and step-by-step walkthroughs.

Requirements

• Recognized degree in Accounting or Finance, and/or ACCA/CPA-equivalent qualification holder
• 1+ year of relevant working experience, or a fresh graduate with strong accounting fundamentals
• Experience in financial reporting and preparation of a full set of financial accounts
• Strong attention to detail and solid analytical skills
• Good working knowledge of IFRS, statutory accounting, and consolidation principles
• Strong communication skills with a good command of written and spoken English
