Technical Specialist, Line Design

Contribute to project scoping, designing, and issuing transmission line designs. Interface with internal departments and apply scope and requirements from initiation to completion. Provide technical support and recommendations to field personnel and contractors.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering Technology, or relevant
• 2 years of related experience
• Knowledge of transmission line design, construction, and maintenance functions
• Knowledge of applicable codes and standards
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Knowledge in and user of PLS-CADD
• Ability to learn and utilize job-specific software
• Sound analytical problem-solving and documentation skills
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Ability to multi-task and work under minimal supervision
