Buyer

Role Overview

The primary responsibility of this position is to manage and procure inventory levels required to meet shipment and operations objectives. The Buyer will also interface with suppliers, engineering, project teams, planning, inventory management and other operations personnel as required to meet and exceed operational goals and customer service requirements.

What You Will Do

Manage supplier relationships, procure goods and services, perform tactical purchasing, create purchase orders, schedule product delivery, and control open orders. Secure and analyze quotations, negotiate price, LTAs, payment terms with suppliers and recommend based on cost, quality and delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or combination of education and relevant materials experience
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a procurement or production-related environment
• Proficient in MS Office
• Experience with ERP systems
• Manufacturing industry experience preferred
• Pump industry experience strongly preferred
