
Job description
The Coating Machine Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining coating machines, reading schedules, and performing quality control checks. The role requires a high school diploma or GED and experience in a manufacturing environment or mechanical aptitude. The operator will work in a team environment, adhering to safety protocols and following standard operating procedures.
The Coating Machine Operator will read schedules, stop and start machine operations, align machine parts, thread film through rollers, and adjust temperature, speed, and flow rate. The operator will also perform quality control checks, clean machines, and handle materials.
The ideal candidate will have intermediate computer skills, attention to detail, and strong verbal and written communication skills. The operator must be willing to learn and adapt to a challenging work environment, with the ability to work in other departments as assigned.
