Part-Time Welding Instructor (Adjunct Faculty)

Ivy Tech Community College is looking for a part-time welding instructor to provide instruction to high school students at Jennings County High School in North Vernon, Indiana. The instructor will create a learning environment that assists students in reaching their goals and provide effective instruction and assessment within the framework of common syllabi provided.

Requirements

• Facilitate student learning by delivering assigned classes
• Make optimal use of available technology to enhance instructional methods
• Develop/maintain course outlines, syllabi, lesson plans, assignments, tests, and materials
• Maintain accurate student records, grades, and other requirements
• Engage with students in meaningful and productive ways that impact student learning
• Interact with students and co-workers in a professional and cooperative manner
• Ensure knowledge of and implement emergency and safety procedures for classrooms, labs, and all learning environments
