Production Lead

Role Overview

The Production Lead position involves leading one or more teams in the execution of various manufacturing processes such as composite fabrication, infusion, assembly, welding, mill operations, metrology, ovens, or Waterjet operations. The role is responsible for the quality and quantity of work performed under their charge as well as the training and safety of their crews.

What You Will Do

Reads, interprets, and follows pass downs, work orders, isometric drawings, blueprints, work instructions and other technical and non-technical documents. Leads team’s performance and gives direction to others while performing the same manufacturing processes.

Must have the ability to read, understand and follow work orders, written procedures, blueprints, drawings and other technical documents. Must have effective verbal and written communication skills in the English language.

Requirements

• Two-year technical certificate or bachelor’s degree in a directly related field
• One-year manufacturing experience
• Prior experience in composite or fiberglass fabrication and repair
• Crane and forklift experience
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance
• U.S. Citizenship or Legal Permanent Resident Status
