The Site Work & Heavy Equipment Operator plays a critical role in preparing construction sites for building projects, operating a variety of heavy machinery and equipment to perform excavation, grading, trenching, and other site preparation tasks.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- CDL required
- Ability to safely haul equipment and drive loaded dump trucks
- Ability to drive manual transmission
- Strong knowledge of site work methods, safety practices, and heavy equipment operations
- Experience operating and setting up GPS equipped equipment
- Proficient with setting up and using transit and lasers
- Ability to work from jobsite provided blueprints plans and project documents
- Knowledge of Ohio EPA and SWP3 requirements
- Proven leadership experience
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment, and handle varying weather conditions
