Ocean Export Specialist

JAS is seeking an Ocean Export Specialist to facilitate the movement of products/equipment/materials out of the country via ocean freight. The successful candidate will provide customer service, prepare documentation, and manage vendor rates.

Requirements

• Prepare/coordinate necessary documentation for ocean export activities
• Coordinate cargo pick up/transfer and monitor status
• Communicate with export related authorities, customers, and suppliers
• Manage/update carrier/vendor rates
• Create and maintain customer files
• Responsible for customer invoicing and payables approval
• Audit files to ensure accuracy and completion
• Interact with coworkers in a professional and courteous manner
