Machine Builder

Role Overview

As a Machine Builder at JBT Marel, you will report to the Machine Shop Supervisor of Prepared Foods Division within the US. You will work in a team-focused environment, building industrial equipment from the ground up, and collaborating with electrical assemblers, engineering, and productions teams.

What You Will Do

You will assemble mechanical components, subassemblies, and complete machines using blueprints, schematics, and work instructions. You will also perform mechanical troubleshooting, adjustments, and rework as required during the build process.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Mechanical aptitude and interest in hands-on work
• Ability to use basic hand and power tools
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Ability to read blueprints or willingness to learn
• Dependability and ability to work in a team environment
• Assembly, manufacturing, or machine building experience
• Technical or vocational training
• Experience working with mechanical systems
